Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Market Risk Analytics Expert to join our Market Risk Analytics team. As a key member of the team, you will provide timely and quality insights and analytics, enabling new risk products and driving the right outcomes for customers.

  • Be responsible for accurate and timely reporting of market risk metrics against risk appetite limit structures to key stakeholders.
  • Business support and maintenance of the Market Risk Internal-Model framework and systems from which risk metrics are produced in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform deep dive analysis to add value to the Internal-Model, risk framework and decision making for senior leaders.
  • Develop and maintain models and tools for Market Risk analysis.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with key stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes that maintain a robust risk framework and escalate material issues to the Manager of MRA.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in financial services, data sciences, engineering or related disciplines preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of risks, controls and compliance obligations with knowledge of financial markets or related products highly regarded.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions, generate ideas and solutions, and resolve complex problems.
  • Strong engagement and influencing skills with the ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders, including to senior level, to deliver outcomes.
  • Intermediate use of Microsoft Excel and experience with SQL and Python preferred.
