Data Insights Specialist - Manager (ICT Benchmarking)

Location: Canberra (with flexible working options)

Must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain a Government Security Clearance.

About The Role
  • Lead the design and execution of ICT benchmarking studies using large, complex datasets.
  • Apply advanced statistical techniques (regression, hypothesis testing, data sampling, etc.) to drive business outcomes.
  • Develop compelling recommendations to guide technology investment and transformation.
  • Design and implement statistical data models, perform analysis, and produce insightful visualisations with Power BI and Tableau.
Requirements
  • Manager level: 5+ years' experience.
  • Background in consulting, technology suppliers, or internal advisory functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to communicate insights clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Excel (including Power Query), Python, Power BI, and Tableau.
  • Understanding of ICT finance, pricing, and benchmarking frameworks.
  • Knowledge of the Commonwealth Government environment (desirable).
Qualifications
  • Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Analytics, or related field (highly desirable).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. Certified Analytics Professional, Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate) are a plus.
