We are seeking an Indigenous Mental Health Professional to join our team. As a valued member of our workforce, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients.

The role will involve conducting thorough assessments of candidates with a range of disabilities and barriers to employment, offering counselling intervention as needed, and referring candidates to additional external support services.

You will also be required to provide evaluations on assessments and monitor the progression of cases, liaise with medical professionals and community agencies on behalf of candidates, and provide training and guidance to atWork staff on psychological services and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will need relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology with eligibility registration with AHPRA, or degree qualifications in Social Work or Counselling with current or eligibility to gain membership with one of AASW / ACA / PACFA.

Experience working within employment services is highly regarded but not essential. You will need exceptional communication, rapport building skills, and engagement, as well as the ability to construct accurate and articulate case reports.

This is a permanent opportunity offering flexible work options, including telehealth opportunities, and flexibility for full or part-time hours available. The position is open nationally, and you will be required to work anywhere in Australia.

A competitive salary package of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, is on offer. Additional benefits include a laptop and phone, fuel allowance, ongoing career development, and access to a range of employee benefits.
