About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Radiation Oncology Specialist to join our team at Brisbane Veterinary Specialist Centre.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert radiation oncology services to our patients, working closely with our surgical and medical oncology teams to deliver comprehensive cancer care.

As a Veterinary Radiation Oncology Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of cases, from complex tumours to metastatic disease, and contribute to the development of our radiation oncology service.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care, has excellent communication skills, and is able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert radiation oncology services to patients, including treatment planning, delivery, and follow-up care
  • Collaborate with surgical and medical oncology teams to deliver comprehensive cancer care
  • Contribute to the development of our radiation oncology service, including the development of new protocols and procedures
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest advances in radiation oncology
Requirements
  • Eligibility to practice as a Veterinarian in Queensland
  • Board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology (DACVR or DECVR)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
