Residential Cleaner

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable individual to join our team at McLean Lodge.

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of resident rooms, common areas, office spaces, cleaners, and staff room as scheduled. They will also replenish and maintain stock levels, perform cleaning and laundry duties as per schedule, and ensure the provision of clean laundry throughout the home at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and maintaining resident rooms, common areas, office spaces, and other designated areas.
• Replenishing and maintaining stock levels of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other essential items.
• Performing cleaning and laundry duties as per schedule, including but not limited to, washing, drying, ironing, and folding laundry.
• Ensuring the provision of clean laundry throughout the home at all times.
• Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals, drinks, and snacks in kitchenettes.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a cleaning/laundry role, preferably in Aged Care/Health Care.
• Excellent time management and organisation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• A non-judgmental approach to working with people.
• Qualifications and experience in food handling, infection control, manual handling, and the use of cleaning chemicals (highly advantageous).
• Food Safety Certificate and Food Handlers Certificate (highly advantageous).
• Physically able to perform manual tasks, including but not limited to, bending and lifting.

You will work as part of a dynamic team to deliver exceptional care and support services that meet the unique needs of each resident.
