Job Description:

The successful candidate will lead a team of building inspectors to deliver expert technical advice, drive operational excellence, and uplift capability across the state.

This pivotal leadership role plays a key part in ensuring consistent, high-quality technical services that align with industry standards and strategic objectives.

The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the delivery of building dispute services and support the function of the Queensland Home Warranty Scheme.

The role supports the regulatory function, ensuring the maintenance of proper building standards to achieve a reasonable balance between the interests of consumers and contractors through statewide inspection, dispute resolution, and technical advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a high-performing team of building inspectors.
  • Deliver expert technical advice to external and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive operational excellence and uplift capability across the state.
