Job Opportunity

  • This is a leadership role that offers the chance to champion integrated, person-centred services and embed trauma-informed, culturally safe practices.

About the Role

As a leader in this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to enhance service delivery and improve outcomes for our clients
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals and objectives
  • Providing guidance and support to team members to help them grow and develop in their roles
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our services remain innovative and effective

Key Responsibilities

  • Proven experience in leadership and team management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex information effectively to diverse stakeholders
  • Knowledge of local community needs and strengths

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in a social science or related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience working within the specified local community in at least one of the Caring, Mental Health, Community, Disability or Health Sciences Sectors
  • A minimum of 2 years' leadership experience
  • Available to participate in 'out of hours' activities as required
  • Right to work within Australia
  • Current valid Driver's Licence and the ability to undertake some travel
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate (free online course)
  • Satisfactory National Police Records Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children's Check (Employee/Paid)
