This is an exciting opportunity to join our Compliance Department as a skilled Lab Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting laboratory operations and ensuring accurate sample preparation.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Prepare samples for analysis, including sorting, labelling, and storing specimens.
- Accurately record experimental data and assist with data analysis under senior staff supervision.
- Monitor inventory levels of lab supplies and order materials as needed.
Safety Protocols: Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and maintaining organised records of experiments and procedures.
What We're Looking For- Bachelor's degree or Certificate IV in a relevant field (Biology, Laboratory Techniques etc.)
- Previous laboratory experience preferred, but entry-level candidates welcome
- Ability to commit to 7-3pm and flexibility when required
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Good understanding of laboratory techniques and safety protocols
