We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Specialist to join our team at Entain Australia & New Zealand. As a key member of our Insights function, you will play a vital role in delivering actionable insights to stakeholders, driving business decisions, and informing strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Extract and Interpret Business Information: Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to extract relevant business information from complex data sets, and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Communicate Insights to Stakeholders: Develop and deliver reports, dashboards, and other visualizations to communicate insights to business stakeholders, ensuring that complex analytical concepts are presented in an easy-to-understand format.
  • Contribute to Insights Strategy: Collaborate with senior analysts and business partners to develop and execute the Insights strategy, ensuring that data-driven decision-making is embedded across the organization.
  • Develop Operational and Analytical Reports: Design and develop operational and analytical reports, dashboards, datasets, and other reporting tools to support business stakeholders in making informed decisions.
  • Contribute to a Proactive Insights Environment: Contribute to an innovative environment that transitions the reporting function from a reactive, task-based group to a proactive, forward-looking team that helps guide the business.
Requirements
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Possess a talent for interpreting business requirements and translating them into actionable insights.
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack: Have experience using the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack, including SQL Server, SSRS, and solid T-SQL query skills.
  • Good Interpersonal Skills: Possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to all levels within the business.
  • Proactive Personality and Good Work Ethic: Demonstrate a proactive personality and a good work ethic, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
