About the Role

The Maintenance Officer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents by maintaining our facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of our facility, creating a comfortable and safe environment for our residents.

Main Responsibilities
  • Attend to general maintenance tasks as directed, including gardening as required.
  • Check maintenance logs and prioritize tasks, coordinating contractors as needed.
  • Under the guidance of the Home Manager, plan and schedule maintenance across the home.
  • Order and store stock as required.
  • Ensure timely action on hazards, incidents, and other events that involve the maintenance function.
About You

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Officer who is committed to continuous quality improvement and has a working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control. You will have a demonstrated commitment to customer-focused services and a driver's license. Previous experience and understanding of aged care, including retirement village and independent living settings, is highly desirable.
