Staff Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Anaesthetist to join our team at the hospital in Mount Isa, Queensland.
This is an opportunity to develop areas of clinical interest within anaesthesia, including obstetrics and regional care, ICU, perioperative medicine, pain management, medical education and wellbeing, and support continued improvement of health services by participating in quality improvement initiatives.
A permanent role with job security and flexible hours/roster arrangements negotiable is on offer. FIFO opportunities are available.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality anaesthetic services
- Develop and maintain skills in epidurals for delivery suite and anaesthesia for obstetrics
- Manage patients in ICU and have experience in intensive care management
- Have an interest or experience in regional anaesthesia and acute and/or chronic pain management
- Meet mandatory requirements for registration/licences and tertiary degree qualification
