Occupational Therapist Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Ryde and surrounding suburbs. This role involves assessing participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments.

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify participants' strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address participants' needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for participants.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fun, collaborative, and supportive environment, providing evidence-based interventions to participants. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for:

  1. Supporting and advising on environmental adaptations, including home, school, work, and residential facilities.
  2. Providing therapeutic interventions that promote independence and overcome functional limitations.
  3. Staying up-to-date with best practices and research in occupational therapy.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with others.
