Role Overview:

The position of Senior Project Coordinator is responsible for leading and supporting the delivery of complex projects. This role operates under broad direction and requires resolving issues and risks across a wide range of activities.

This position will oversee high-impact projects with multiple interrelated tasks that contribute to strategic and operational goals. Stakeholder engagement is key, including representation and negotiation to advance project outcomes across various forums.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project scope, timeline, and forward planning.
  • Apply Agile and Waterfall project management approaches.
  • Utilise project management tools to track deliverables and dependencies.
  • Monitor team progress, capture project status, and manage risks/issues using RAID logs.
  • Assist with planning and resource allocation for features/projects.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprints, and retrospectives.
  • Coach team members on Agile/Waterfall methodologies and increase delivery maturity.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to manage backlogs and change requests.
  • Create a collaborative team culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Govern project delivery in line with federal frameworks and escalate where necessary.
Requirements:
  • Australian Citizenship is required.
  • Proven Scrum Master experience and knowledge.
  • Strong project management background and skills.
  • Government experience is desirable.
