We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team at 1300Smiles Buderim. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality treatments.
Key Responsibilities- Chairside Assistance: Provide support to our dentists during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.
- Treatment Room Preparation: Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Instrument Maintenance: Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to strict hygiene standards.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care, promoting a positive patient experience.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, ensuring seamless communication with our patients and dentists.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, supporting our team's administrative needs.
- Dental Terminology: Possess experience in dental terminology and procedures, ensuring a strong understanding of our clinical environment.
- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, building strong relationships with our patients and team members.
- Attention to Detail: Showcase strong attention to detail and organisational abilities, ensuring a high level of accuracy in your work.
- Multitasking: Demonstrate the ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing your time efficiently.
