Bid Strategy Manager

The role of a seasoned Bid Strategy Manager is pivotal in shaping the company's bid management processes and overseeing the development and submission of bids from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire bid lifecycle, including crafting proposal timelines, providing initial assessments on bid feasibility, and leading weekly opportunities meetings.
- Track progress against key milestones, keep stakeholders informed, and finalize submissions within deadlines.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including General Managers, Project Managers, technical experts, Finance, Logistics, and People and Culture, to develop responses to RFQs and other bid requests.
- Develop and maintain relationships with other Bid Managers from industry primes and work closely with the Marketing team to ensure consistent branding for all submissions.
- Support Business Development Managers in translating client requirements.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need;
- Significant experience as a Bid Strategy Manager, preferably in the technology or government/defence sectors.
- High-level communication skills, including influencing people at all levels within and external to the business.
- Excellent relationship management, project/program management, and business improvement skills.
- A strong focus on teamwork, collaboration, and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
