Join us in seeking a talented and skilled Structural Designer to collaborate on a range of projects including major infrastructure initiatives, industrial, and commercial developments. As a Structural Designer, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in designing with various structural materials and work closely with senior engineers to refine your expertise.
Primary Duties:
· Utilize engineering principles to solve complex engineering problems.
· Communicate effectively with clients, design technicians, and other team members to deliver results-driven solutions.
· Develop and submit proposal documents and tender bids.
· Guide junior team members in their professional growth and development.
· Conduct site visits to gather information and clarify client expectations.
Essential Qualifications:
· Background in structural engineering design.
· Possess a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
· Demonstrate exceptional analytical skills and the ability to think critically.
· Showcase excellent written communication skills and the ability to present ideas effectively.
· Display exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
· Proficiency in 3D modelling software, ideally SpaceGass, but adaptable to other analysis tools.
· Comprehensive understanding of fundamental engineering concepts.
· Expertise in creating sketches and applying design standards effectively.
· Capacity to adapt quickly and learn from others, with a focus on continuous improvement.
· Well-developed project management skills.
· Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
· In-depth knowledge of concrete and steel design methodologies.
