Job Profile

We seek dedicated Sterilising Technicians to join our well-supported team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to expand their skills and experience in a busy CSSD environment.

To be successful in this role:

  • You must be flexible to work across various shifts and possess strong problem-solving skills with an ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A sound understanding and knowledge of infection control requirements and Australian Sterilising Standard (AS/NZS4187)
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a busy team with changing priorities and work demands
  • Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to build close working relationships within the CSSD team, operating theatres and other key areas
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • The ability to use computer systems
  • A high level of understanding of Occupational Health and Safety, with good manual handling techniques and basic level chemical safety within the sterilising services
  • An understanding of and commitment to quality improvements
