Water Engineer Specialist Role

The Water & Wastewater Engineering Team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in municipal water & wastewater infrastructure planning and project management.

This exciting opportunity will see the successful candidate leading a project delivery team, managing major water & wastewater projects, including network modelling, project planning and coordination through initial inception to detailed design and construction phases. They will also supervise and mentor junior staff, provide technical expertise, and collaborate with other teams and offices to ensure an integrated design approach.

In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to deliver high-quality water engineering services to clients;
  • Managing and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and effective communication with stakeholders;
  • Mentoring and guiding junior staff members in their professional development;
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on complex water engineering issues;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
