Job Description:

The Test Manager role is responsible for overseeing and managing a team of specialist testing resources within project teams to implement quality testing methods aligned with Queensland Health ICT Testing Governance Policy Framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with project teams as an internal specialist consultant, interpret testing requirements, provide leadership, advice, and communicate testing outcomes.
  • Implement and advise on quality testing methods.
  • Manage the development of testing products, documentation, defect management, and test reporting.
  • Ensure effective collaboration and communication with stakeholders to influence project outcomes.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience managing and leading multi-disciplinary ICT projects in all aspects of testing implementations within large, complex IM/ICT programs. You must demonstrate your ability in all phases of testing, including plans, resources, costs, timescales, test deliverables, and auditability.

Preferably, you will have experience in test automation using various technologies, such as Tricentis suite, Postman, and SQL. Strong communication and engagement skills are essential to success in this role, requiring the ability to establish and maintain ongoing engagement with key stakeholders to drive project results.
