Assistant Educator Opportunity

Are you an experienced Early Childhood professional looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Educator to join our team. As an Assistant Educator, you will play a key role in providing high-quality education and care to children aged 0-5 years.

Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Educator who is passionate about early childhood education and has a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and support to our children and families. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging learning environments that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development in young children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Build and maintain relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to the planning, preparation, and delivery of educational programs and activities that promote learning and development
  • Provide supervision and guidance to students on practicum or placement
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services

Requirements:

  • ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma qualification in Children's Services or equivalent
  • Proven experience working with children aged 0-5 years in an early childhood setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Working with Children Check
