Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Catastrophic Claims Specialist to join our team. As an external claims adjuster, you will work closely with customers and clients to deliver professional service when completing on-site and desktop assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional service when completing on-site and desktop assessments, interacting with customers and clients.
- Communicate clear and accurate advice, solutions, timeframes and claim progress to all stakeholders.
- Document all decisions made and reasons, including ownership details, reserve changes and acceptance/rejection of claims.
- Conduct site inspections, ascertain cause and extent of damage, appoint trades/other relevant specialists, and provide a seamless end-to-end claims experience for the customer.
Required Skills:
- Prior experience as a Loss Adjuster (desirable, however if you possess similar skills in a related industry, this will be highly regarded).
- Loss Adjusting qualifications preferred, or professional qualifications applicable to the Loss Adjusting industry.
- Trade qualifications would be advantageous.
- Valid driver's license.
