Job Summary

The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance plans to maximize equipment reliability and availability. This role will work closely with supervisors and area coordinators to ensure compliance with the GCAA Asset Management Framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement short and long-term maintenance plans to maximize equipment reliability and availability.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and area coordinators to ensure compliance with the GCAA Asset Management Framework.
  • Administer the SAP system to enable safe and reliable coal production.
  • Raise work orders with clear and concise written job instructions.

Requirements

  • Previous experience with SAP.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office.
  • Formal trade qualification in Electrical, Mechanical or Engineering.
  • Knowledge of FMECA, cost management and budgeting.
  • A proven ability to interpret engineering drawings, OEM manuals and standards.
  • High level of efficiency, resourcefulness, and personal organisation.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
  • Promoting and maintaining a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the company values.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment.
  • Ability to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders.
