We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Gardener – Handyperson to join our team at Bibra Lake Primary School. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and presenting the school grounds and gardens in an attractive and clean condition. This includes turf management, minor repairs, and maintenance, as well as providing advice and support to the Principal on school grounds maintenance.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Maintaining and presenting the school grounds and gardens in an attractive and clean condition
  • Providing turf management, minor repairs, and maintenance as required
  • Providing advice and support to the Principal on school grounds maintenance
  • Carrying out other Gardener duties in accordance with Department policies and guidelines

The ideal candidate will possess good interpersonal skills, the ability to receive and carry out instructions as required, and a strong commitment to maintaining the school's grounds and gardens. Selection Criteria

As a Gardener – Handyperson, you will be required to meet the following selection criteria:

  • Have a valid Working With Children Check
  • Consent to a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment
