Speech Pathology Services Overview

Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network is seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join their multidisciplinary team. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing adult speech pathology services to clients, managing a complex caseload, and supporting other team members. You will work under reduced clinical direction and contribute to the clinical supervision of less experienced allied health professionals, allied health assistants, and students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide adult speech pathology services to clients according to service prioritisation and eligibility criteria
  • Manage a complex caseload and support other team members in managing the demands of the service
  • Contribute to the clinical supervision of less experienced allied health professionals, allied health assistants, and students
  • Participate in team, discipline, and network meetings and contribute to the review, development, and adaptation of clinical and administrative resources

Requirements

  • Recognised qualification within the speech pathology profession
  • Eligible for practicing membership of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia
  • Experience in speech pathology service provision
