Role Summary

The Production Manager will be responsible for leading the product development team and managing the supply chain to ensure all garments meet CSB's quality and aesthetic standards. This role will require close collaboration with the design team, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of products that meet brand integrity and target COGS.

Key Responsibilities
  • PDLC Management: Oversee the product development lifecycle across the production team and supply chain.
  • Annual Critical Path Management: Develop and manage the annual critical path for the product team.
  • Bulk PO Management: Manage all bulk purchase orders to ensure delivery in full and on time.
  • Quality and Costing Management: Identify and address potential production, quality, and costing issues to maintain brand integrity.
  • Fabric Sourcing and Development: Execute and manage fabric sourcing and development to meet product requirements.
  • COGS Pricing Negotiations: Negotiate pricing with suppliers to achieve margin targets.
  • 3rd Party QC Inspections: Manage 3rd party quality control inspections within seasonal budgets.
  • Production Supply Chain Management: Manage the production supply chain and supplier relationships.
  • Capacity Planning: Develop annual and seasonal capacity plans for suppliers.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop annual and seasonal strategic plans for supplier investment.
  • Supplier Onboarding: Source and onboard new suppliers that meet CSB's ethical, social, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Supplier Certification Management: Maintain annual reviews and certifications of suppliers' ethical standards.
  • Strategic Product Planning: Contribute to creating strategic product and supply chain plans that support CSB's objectives and brand goals.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 3 Years' Experience: In a production manager role or similar, with experience dealing with offshore manufacturing suppliers.
  • Product Development Experience: Leading and managing product development teams, with a strong knowledge of product development processes, garment construction, and local and offshore production supply chain management.
  • Garment Specifications and Production Process: Excellent understanding of garment specifications, product development, and production processes.
  • Design Software: Experienced with use of Photoshop, Illustrator, and CAD.
  • Active Wear Experience: Demonstrated work in active wear, preferred.
  • Organizational and Communication Skills: Exceptional organization and prioritization skills, with strong written and verbal communication skills and effective rapport building skills with a varied audience.
