About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Management Accounting Assistant to join our team at Sanitarium, a leading Australian company committed to producing high-quality food products.

The successful candidate will assist in providing financial support to managers, enabling them to make informed business decisions and effectively manage their areas of responsibility.

This is a permanent full-time role with a half-day Friday arrangement, based in Berkeley Vale on the Central Coast of NSW.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare regular financial performance monitoring and variance reporting related to Delivery and Warehousing for AU & NZ.
  • Calculate and maintain freight charge accuracy vs rate cards.
  • Assist with preparation of business cases and logistic costs impacts.
  • Support changes to the ERP system.
  • Process logistics invoices for domestic and export carriers.
  • Provide training on invoice processing for annual interns.
  • Assist with annual financial forecasts and projections for AU & NZ Logistics.
  • Assist with annual budget preparation to agreed timelines for AU & NZ Logistics.
  • Collaborate across departments to prepare and review proposals to support management in achieving their objectives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in business/commerce with a major in accounting.
  • Current or near completion of CPA, CA, or equivalent qualification.
  • 1+ year(s) practical experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong customer focus and team orientation.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • FMCG environment experience advantageous but not essential.
