About the Role

Our organization seeks a senior network security engineer to join a network-specialist managed security services provider (MSSP). This field services role will support critical infrastructure for edge, switch, wireless and industrial OT / IoT technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy, maintain multi-site network topologies (core, distribution, access layers).
  • Configure and manage layer 2 and 3 networks (VLANs, routing, STP, OSPF, BGP).
  • Implement, document and support FortiSwitches, HPE / Aruba switches and Cisco Meraki switches.
  • Manage and patch physical infrastructure including rack-mounted switches, firewalls, and patch panels.
Requirements and Skills
  • At least 3 years in an MSP / MSSP or complex enterprise environment.
  • Industry certifications such as expert-level Fortinet (NSE 4+) or CCNP / CCIE.
  • Strong experience with HPE switches, Cisco Meraki or similar enterprise-grade switches.
  • Able to work independently on infrastructure or security projects with minimal supervision.

Australian citizenship, permanent residency or working visa is required. You must pass police, background and medical checks. A valid driver's license and own vehicle are also necessary.
