This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to utilize their expertise in claim management and customer service to make a positive impact on the lives of injured workers.

About the Job

As a Senior Case Manager, you will be responsible for managing and processing claims for injured workers who are claiming reimbursement and cost coverage of various types of medical expenses. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, treating health care providers, and occupational rehabilitation services, to ensure timely and accurate processing of claims.

  • Managing and processing claims for injured workers
  • Reviewing, monitoring, and approving requests from injured workers for medical/surgical treatment
  • Ensuring appropriate documentation is received to process weekly wage payments for employers and injured workers
  • Administration-based tasks, such as assessing and processing invoices, entering contact notes, and drafting letters relating to decisions being made on claims

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. A tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as allied health, psychology, or social work, would be beneficial.
