Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

Barwon Health is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our emergency department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient-centered care in emergency and community settings.
- Assess, manage, diagnose, prescribe, and refer patients as necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care.
- Rotate between the Emergency Departments and Urgent Care Centre to experience diverse clinical responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Authorised registration as a Nurse Practitioner with AHPRA.
- Completed a NMBA-approved nurse practitioner program at Master's level or equivalent.
- Advanced competency in Clinical Specialty (Emergency and/or Urgent Care).
- Ability to work 50% of shifts across both Barwon Health sites - Emergency Departments and Barwon Health North Urgent care centre.
