At 8848 Roofing Pty Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Roof Tiler to be part of our team responsible for roof tiling and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Analyze project drawings and specifications to estimate material costs.
  • Site Preparation: Erect ladders and scaffolds, inspect and prepare surfaces for roofing work.
  • Tiling and Waterproofing: Lay and cut tiles according to the tiling plan, place and secure waterproof sheets over eaves, and nail and staple roofing underlay to roofs.
  • Roofing Material Installation: Align starter rows of roofing material with roof edges, secure with wire, staples, and nails, and overlap successive layers of tiles.
  • Finishing Touches: Size and cut roofing material to fit around vents, chimney edges, corners, and ridges, slip roofing material under prefabricated flashing, and nail it down. Caulk and flash exposed nail heads to prevent leaks.

  • Competitive salary: $73,150 to $75,000 per year
