Job Title: Senior Contracts Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Administrator to join our team at ClearCompany. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our projects meet and exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the subcontract and head contract processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Negotiate and review subcontract and head contract tenders, including preparing tender comparisons for review.
  • Prepare, check, and review subcontract packages, scopes, lettings, and procurement schedules.
  • Monitor subcontractors to ensure they adhere to environmental commitments and responsibilities.
  • Create accurate payment schedules and understand and manage subcontractor contractual risk.
  • Process progress claims, delay claims, and external variations according to contractual obligations.
  • Prepare project budgets for review and provide accurate rolling final account forecasts.
  • Assist in the preparation and administration of project completion and inspection test plans.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying are essential.
  • Candidates should demonstrate proven experience in relevant projects within the mixed-use, commercial, retail, and residential sectors, particularly those exceeding $50M plus.
  • Local expertise in subcontract tendering, standards, and procedures is required, along with strong negotiation skills.
  • A solid grasp of construction programs and plans, and the ability to identify key obligations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and rapport-building skills at all levels.
  • Proficiency in relevant software packages, including Procure and the Microsoft Office suite, is also necessary.
