Job Opportunity:

A research collaboration between Csiro and Monash University is undertaking a project to design and optimise the application of novel spongy super-hydrophobic materials for oil spill clean-up.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and optimising the application of novel spongy super-hydrophobic materials.
  • Pilot-scale testing will be conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the developed materials.

Background:

Csiro Manufacturing is committed to improving oil filtration efficiency in oil spill response through collaboration with Monash University. The project aims to significantly improve oil filtration efficiency, revolutionise current practices, and contribute to environmental sustainability.

Previous Achievements:
