A leading agricultural firm seeks an experienced livestock manager to oversee the daily operations of a 700Ha property in Young, NSW.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in sheep management, animal husbandry best practice, stockfeeding, fencing & property maintenance, mechanical repairs and welding.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Livestock management of sheep
  • Animal husbandry best practice
  • Stockfeeding
  • Fencing & property maintenance
  • Mechanical repairs and welding

Requirements include:

  • Proven experience in sheep management
  • Ability to work unsupervised and show initiative
  • Proficient in operating and maintaining farm machinery and motorbikes
  • General farm management skills including fencing and welding essential
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Bonus points for candidates with working dogs and experience in mechanized farming equipment
