
Energy Sustainability Specialist

At Pacific Energy, we strive to lead the way in environmental excellence. We are seeking a passionate Environmental Advisor who can guide sustainability, ensure compliance, and influence key decisions across our major projects.
Responsibilities- Develop initiatives to guarantee compliance with relevant legislation, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Conduct thorough audits and facilitate risk assessments to identify environmental risks and implement corrective actions.
- Provide expert advice, guidance, training, and awareness to senior leadership, project managers, and contractors on environmental matters.
- Establish and maintain project or site-specific environmental risk management plans and procedures.
- Offer SME input in investigations of environmental incidents to determine root causes and implement lessons learned.
- Prepare documentation for approvals and environmental licensing as required, and create environmental reports, audits, and compliance documents for internal and external stakeholders.
- Engage with local communities and stakeholders to support environmental initiatives.
- Develop and lead continuous improvement initiatives for our Environmental Management Systems.
Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Occupational Health and Safety, or related field, along with experience in developing and implementing environmental management plans and improvement plans across multiple sites.
Strong communication skills, an in-depth understanding of environmental legislation, and proficiency in digital HSE management systems and reporting tools are also essential.

- ICAM, TapRooT, Five Why's or equivalent incident investigation certification (desirable).
- Proficient in digital HSE management systems and reporting tools.
- Willing and able to travel to support multi-site operations.
