Debt Recovery Specialist

As a Debt Recovery Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in resolving overdue accounts while working within a fast-paced environment. You will engage with customers to set up suitable payment arrangements or obtain promises to pay.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage relationships with customers and resolve financial disputes.
  • Initiate legal action where appropriate, in line with policy and procedures.
  • Identify financial hardship indicators and refer customers to the relevant internal support teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in debt recovery or a customer-facing role is essential.
  • Proven ability to manage high call volumes (approximately 150 calls per day).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive customer conversations with empathy and professionalism.
