As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care throughout surgical procedures.

Brisbane Private Hospital is seeking a skilled and experienced Perioperative Scrub/Scout Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team.

About Our Opportunity

Located at the top of Wickham Terrace, Brisbane's busiest medical precinct, our hospital provides state-of-the-art facilities with 181 beds and 17 operating theatres.

As part of our centre of excellence in Orthopaedic Surgery, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve optimal patient outcomes through evidence-based practice.

  • Aim for quality and safety by implementing strategies for risk management and continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively within the team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Provide education and training assistance when applicable.
Essential Criteria
  • Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum two years' experience as a Perioperative Scrub/Scout Registered Nurse.
  • Registration with no restrictions with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia - AHPRA.
  • Compliance with national healthcare standards.
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing desirable or working towards.
  • Solid clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
