We are seeking an experienced underground fitter to join our team at MICO, Mt Isa, QLD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality maintenance and repair of our underground heavy equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on underground heavy equipment, including CAT, Sandvik, and Volvo machines.
- Work autonomously and as part of a team to achieve high-quality results.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless equipment operation and maintenance.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Trade qualification in Diesel Fitting (essential).
- Proven experience working on underground heavy equipment (essential).
- Experience with CAT, Sandvik, and Volvo equipment is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- A strong focus on safety and quality.
- A current Australian Manual Drivers License.
- A National Police Clearance.
