About the Role

We are seeking an experienced underground fitter to join our team at MICO, Mt Isa, QLD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality maintenance and repair of our underground heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on underground heavy equipment, including CAT, Sandvik, and Volvo machines.
  • Work autonomously and as part of a team to achieve high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
Requirements
  • Trade qualification in Diesel Fitting (essential).
  • Proven experience working on underground heavy equipment (essential).
  • Experience with CAT, Sandvik, and Volvo equipment is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A strong focus on safety and quality.
  • A current Australian Manual Drivers License.
  • A National Police Clearance.
