This is an exciting opportunity to work on a major civil infrastructure project at the Iluka Rare Earth Refinery. The project involves excavating, constructing formworks, installing reinforcements, final trimming and backfilling.

The role requires experienced Carpenters to work in a 2:1 roster, offering better work-life balance. Transportation to and from site is provided from Perth Airport.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mark and line out formwork for construction projects.
  • Erect and dismantle formwork as instructed by supervisors or project managers.
  • Install cast ins within tolerance limits for structural integrity.
  • Install bolts and other fixings within tolerance limits for safe and secure constructions.
  • Assist with steel fixing when required for added strength and stability.
  • Interpret drawings and specifications accurately and efficiently.
  • Complete placing of concrete if required for reinforced structures.
  • Perform other general duties as required by project managers or supervisors.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:

  • Nationally recognised Trade Certification in Carpentry & Joinery (essential)
  • Minimum 2+ years' industry experience working as a Carpenter
  • Previous civil construction experience within the mining and resources sectors (preferable)
  • HRWL with EWP (over 11 meters)
  • Valid Working at Heights certification (preferable)
  • Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness card (White Card)
