Key Role Overview

A Senior Systems Engineer is required to join a specialist support and projects team. They will interact directly with customers and other members of the teams to support technology-based solutions.

This role requires expertise in Citrix and NetScaler technologies, including administration and configuration. Experience in user profile management, Windows Server systems administration, and cloud technologies is also necessary.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting Citrix environments within contracted time frames and service level agreements
  • Participating in an on-call roster for after-hours support
  • Requirements gathering and working on Citrix and NetScaler projects for customers

The successful candidate will work collaboratively across locations, providing technical maintenance, support services, and maintaining technical documentation.

Sharing knowledge and expertise through coaching others in the team is also a great way to contribute to this growing specialist practice.

Key Requirements

  • At least 5 years' experience as a Senior System Engineer with expertise in Citrix and NetScaler technologies
  • Experience and background supporting Windows Server, infrastructure applications, and cloud technologies
  • Technical experience must include: Citrix DaaS/Virtual Apps and Desktops Administration and configuration, Citrix Netscaler Administration and configuration, User profile management via UPM, FSLogix, and Ivanti DesktopNow, Windows Server Systems Administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Patch Management, Knowledge with Microsoft Server technology products, Managing workloads and resources with public cloud environments (Azure and AWS), Managing virtual environments utilising infrastructure such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V, Sound knowledge of backup and disaster recovery methodologies using tools such as Veeam, NetBackup and CommVault
