Health Specialist Role

We are seeking a Health Specialist to join our team in the provision of technical expertise in injury prevention and management activities.

This role will involve providing technical guidance on health-related matters, maintaining health reporting, and executing data integrity and governance activities.

The successful candidate will have a genuine desire to help people achieve positive health and wellbeing outcomes, combined with a clear understanding of the role that health plays in the workplace.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing technical guidance on injury prevention and management activities
  • Maintaining health reporting and executing data integrity and governance activities
  • Maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with medical and allied health providers

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in a health-related discipline (e.g. Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy or Exercise Physiology) and proven experience in delivering health strategies and injury and illness prevention initiatives.

You will also have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a health-related discipline
  • Working knowledge of relevant health legislation across Australia and coordinating workers compensation case management
  • Experience delivering health strategies and injury and illness prevention initiatives
  • A commitment to coaching, influencing, and encouraging a mentally healthy workforce
