Atlassian seeks innovative Frontend developers to contribute to shaping the Atlassian Cloud Platform. This involves designing, implementing, integrating, tuning, and issue resolving new micro-services, software libraries, tools, and applications.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing high-performance, scalable, and secure systems that cater to millions of users.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop product and platform services, and infrastructure that powers Atlassian Cloud.
  • Build always-on, low-latency, high-concurrency micro-services and systems that scale for millions of users.
  • Collaborate with a team of skilled developers and designers to create simple, beautiful, and consistent user experiences for web applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in JavaScript (ReactJS).
  • Keen interest in open-source technologies and a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Understanding of how to build performant, decoupled, testable, and maintainable code.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to write components in plain JavaScript/TypeScript while leveraging existing libraries when appropriate.
  • Familiarity with React and ES6 features.
  • Industry experience with public cloud offerings.
  • Understanding of typical web application, SOA, and micro-services patterns.
  • Knowledge of open-source libraries, tools, and frameworks.
