This role plays a critical part in preserving and managing urban trees within the city area. You will work with an experienced crew leader and team to ensure the health, safety, and well-maintenance of our valuable tree assets.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform pruning and trimming tasks
  • Lift tree canopies for improved visibility and safety
  • Remove damaged or hazardous limbs
  • Clear fallen branches and debris
  • Operate equipment such as chainsaws and wood chippers
  • Conduct other general tree labouring tasks

Your contributions will significantly impact the health and safety of our urban trees, enhancing the community's environment, appearance, and overall well-being.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Possess knowledge and physical ability to perform manual tasks safely
  • Recent experience in a manual position is advantageous
  • Maintenance of trees requires relevant skills and experience
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential

In addition to these requirements, candidates must hold a valid truck license (minimum MR - medium rigid) and a Construction Induction Card.
