Your Daily Responsibilities
This pivotal role involves building and guiding a team dedicated to providing outstanding dining experiences. While each day brings its own challenges, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to the creation of an innovative and exciting menu by sourcing the finest local ingredients.
- Delivering unforgettable culinary experiences for our guests.
- Fostering a vibrant and professional atmosphere that upholds our high standards of quality, creativity, and flair.
- Overseeing staff training, evaluating performance, and supporting professional growth initiatives.
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies while ensuring effective stock control.
- Assisting with the broader food and beverage operations of the hotel, including room service and event catering.
Qualifications We Seek
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position within a busy restaurant or hotel environment.
- Proven ability to cultivate and lead a collaborative and enthusiastic team.
- Strong capability to work efficiently under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- A creative and innovative mindset towards culinary arts and menu development.
- At least one year of supervisory experience or a comparable combination of education and culinary experience.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with various departments and team members.
- A commitment to upholding high standards of food safety and hygiene practices.
