The Role
Salary: $200,000 per annum (plus statutory superannuation and leave loading)
Job Summary: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will provide strategic leadership, direction and management of the finance team, offering expert advice to the executive team and Board.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Develop and deliver the organisation's financial management and/or control systems including financial forecasting, budgets, grant funding acquittals and compliance.
  • Leadership: Manage a dedicated finance team, providing regular updates and reports to program managers, CEO and Board.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strategy / Continuous Improvement: Provide trend analysis and make recommendations around organisational financial performance.
  • Funding: Identify ways to diversify and strengthen funding income.
About You
We are seeking a driven expert with several years' experience in financial management, who has established a successful career in a senior finance role in either the not-for-profit or commercial sector.
You will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and economics, with an MBA and/or CPA/CA highly desirable. Ten (10) years' experience in a similar industry is essential.
You will possess superior relationship management, communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
