About Our Pool Attendant Role

  • Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting pool opening procedures, including removing pool covers and cleaning the pool and surrounds.
  • The selected individual will place lane ropes in the pool and prepare all necessary safety equipment.
  • They will test the pool water and record the daily results in a designated system.
  • Pool attendants will also conduct lifeguard activities throughout the opening hours of the pool.

About the Job

We are seeking someone who can undertake the rescue of any user as required in accordance with standard work instructions covered by certification.

  • This includes ensuring that all pool safety equipment and rescue equipment is always available and easily accessible.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting pool closing procedures.
  • They must also manage access to swimming pools by entitled members only.

About You

  • You will need a current Pool Lifeguard Certificate and a current First Aid Certificate.
  • A high level of physical fitness and an energetic personality are highly desirable.
  • Prior customer service experience is advantageous.
  • A suitability for Defence security clearance and Australian citizenship are mandatory requirements.
