About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned Technical Program Manager to join our Engineering organization in San Francisco, United States, or remotely. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in steering our growth and removing barriers to achieve our long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management: Manage technical programs of medium to large cross-functional scope, from end to end, and align stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Technical Delivery and Leadership: Scale leadership by managing multiple technical and operational focused programs, contribute to strategy within the product area, and apply technical knowledge to close technical discussions with principal engineers and architects.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Build understanding between your program's technical direction, the business' market strategy, and Atlassian's technical strategy, and foster collaboration across teams to drive results.
Requirements
  • Education: BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a similar Program or Project Management role, within cloud environments, leading Agile programs across multiple teams, and managing Program schedules.
  • Skills: Experience making decisions to keep projects on track, managing risks and dependencies, and evolved program management standards and operational processes, as well as building tools, dashboards, and automation to increase transparency and reduce toil.
Compensation and Benefits

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. Our base pay ranges for new hires in each geographic pay zone are:

  • Zone A: $144,000 - $192,000
  • Zone B: $129,600 - $172,800
  • Zone C: $119,500 - $159,300
