Outside School Hours Care 2IC Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join our innovative high-intensity OSHC program for children with disabilities attending Melton Specialist School. We are looking for a part-time Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) 2IC who will assist in managing the OSHC program and adhering to its policies and directives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervising staff and children during after-school care from 2 pm to 6 pm or until the last child is collected, Monday to Friday.
  • Supervising staff and children during school holiday care from 9 am to 5 pm or until the last child is collected.
  • Providing support to children and young people with disabilities, promoting their development and education.
  • Maintaining strong ethics, child safety awareness, and work health and safety knowledge.
  • Adapting to change and maintaining flexibility and resilience.

Requirements:

  • Experience in child services, education, or disabilities with leadership aspirations.
  • Passion for child development and education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory.
