Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care to assist residents maintain independence and dignity with respect to activities of daily living and lifestyle.
  • Deliver meal refreshments as required.
  • Record observations on relevant assessment charts and document any observed exceptions to the care plan in progress notes, then report to the EN/RN.
  • Check residents' daily menu requirements.
  • Attend to duties allocated or delegated by the RN/EN, including general ward duties.

Essential Requirements:

  • A current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
  • Relevant Certificate III Qualification.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in residential aged care.
  • Flexibility to work across morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
