About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef/Cook to join our team at Busy Bees Narre Warren. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals to our children, ensuring their dietary needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse needs of our children, including those with allergies and dietary restrictions.
  • Prepare and cook meals in a safe and hygienic environment, adhering to food safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless meal service and high-quality food presentation.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent/higher culinary qualifications.
  • Current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one.
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
  • Australian Work Rights.
