About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and student-focused Teacher to join our Hair, Beauty, Makeup business area at Chisholm Institute of TAFE.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver education practices that engage learners and meet regulatory standards.
  • Ensure teaching materials and resources are up-to-date and relevant.
  • Establish a positive learning environment and encourage student responsibility.
  • Adapt learning materials to cater for different students and learning environments.
  • Undertake administrative tasks related to teaching areas.
  • Maintain a respectful and safe learning environment.
About You

You will be a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge and the ability to research and use a wide range of learning resources.

Qualifications required for the role include:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent.
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in a relevant discipline.
  • Registration with relevant professional bodies.
  • A record of Vocational Competency and Professional Currency.
